Placer County

Pioneer Community Energy began providing electricity services in 2018 to Auburn, Colfax, Lincoln, Rocklin and the Town of Loomis and most of unincorporated Placer County.

El Dorado County

Pioneer Community Energy began providing electricity services to Placerville and most of unincorporated El Dorado County in January 2022.

Grass Valley & Nevada City

Pioneer Community Energy began providing electricity services to the City of Grass Valley and Nevada City in January 2024.

The City of Auburn leads by example as the first city in the region to sign all city-owned facilities up for the Green100 program.

Colfax

More than 1,000 customers enjoying the power of choice.
Customers have saved $800,000 from 2018 – 2025.
In 2021, Pioneer’s board authorized a two-month bill credit to all the customers that lost homes in the River Fire.

Grass Valley

Effective January 2024, Pioneer now proudly serves Grass Valley with competitive rates and exceptional customer service.
Customers have saved $5.5 million from 2024 – 2025.

Lincoln

Nearly 19,000 customers provided reliable energy.
Customers have saved $10.7 million from 2018 – 2025.

Loomis

Close to 3,000 customers are benefiting from Pioneer’s energy services.
Customers have saved $2.1 million from 2018 – 2025.

Nevada City

Effective January 2024, Pioneer now proudly serves Nevada City with competitive rates and exceptional customer service.
Customers have saved $1.5 million from 2024 – 2025.

Placerville

Nearly 5,000 customers served.
Customers have saved $7.2 million from 2022 – 2025.

Rocklin

Over 27,000 customers benefit from PIoneer’s services.

Unincorporated Placer County

Nearly 38,000 energy customers served.

Unincorporated El Dorado County

49,000 customers have chosen Pioneer.
Customers have saved $59 million from 2022 – 2025.
