Pioneer’s exclusive Green100 renewable energy rate is a choice for all customers interested in reducing their carbon footprint and the environmental impact of their electricity usage â available for only $0.01088 per kWh more than Pioneer’s standard product. Pioneer is the only provider in the region that offers a 100% renewable energy option.
Examples of renewable resources used in Green100 may include geothermal, wind, solar, hydroelectric, and biomass energy production. Choosing Green100 is entirely voluntary â and helps customers reduce their carbon footprint. Green100 also can help business customers advance carbon initiatives and even assist in achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
