Better Business Bureau Awards Pioneer Community Energy with A+ Accreditation

Accreditation Demonstrates Pioneer’s Unwavering Commitment to Excellence

Rocklin — Pioneer Community Energy (Pioneer), a locally owned not-for-profit electricity provider headquartered in Rocklin, California, has been awarded an “A+” accreditation by the Sacramento Better Business Bureau (BBB), the highest possible rating.

The BBB gives businesses letter grades from A+ to F based on 13 factors, including their performance, trustworthiness, complaint history, and adherence to BBB standards of trust. An A+ rating indicates that a business is transparent, ethical, and provides outstanding customer service.

“It takes a lot to earn an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. We are honored to receive this recognition from one of the largest and most respected business review organizations,” said Pioneer’s Board Chair and Auburn City Councilmember Alice Dowdin Calvillo. “This A+ rating validates Pioneer’s ongoing efforts to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and customer care.”

Pioneer currently serves unincorporated Placer and El Dorado counties and the incorporated areas of Auburn, Colfax, Grass Valley, Lincoln, Loomis, Nevada City, Placerville, and Rocklin. Since its beginning in 2018, Pioneer has saved customers more than $85 million.
